Now through August 11: After 1968: contemporary artists and the civil rights legacy - Bronx Museum

"The Bronx Museum presents After 1968: Contemporary Artists and the Civil Rights Legacy as a counterpoint to the exhibition of photos from the Civil Rights movement, Road to Freedom, which is also on view. Featuring work by seven African-American artists, including Hank Willis Thomas, Nadine Robinson and Deborah Grant, this show reflects on the meanings of the movement through the eyes of artists born after its greatest victories had been won, and it looks at what remains to be done. For more information, visit bronxmuseum.org."
