May 25th through November: eco-fashion: going green @ FIT
"Over 100 garments and accoutrements are on display to help tell the complex story of fashion’s relationship with ecology, sustainability and the environment. The physical objects—clothing, accessories, pieces of fabric—illuminate the issues that are central to fashion and its process from idea to closet: recycling, labor and production, craftsmanship and more. Sustainable clothing from labels like Alabama Chanin and Edun are on view. For more information, visit fitnyc.edu."
