Photographs of the president's first year in the White House are being put on display in at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The exhibit consists of almost 80 photographs, all taken by official White House photographer Pete Souza.
It is running alongside a display of 35 watercolors, documenting events from Colonial times to the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
The shows are being presented together under the title "365 Days: 390 Years in the Making."
