Tonight!: Art Gallery and Spoken Word night in Honor of Women's History Month!

One Year Spoken Word Anniversary and Art Gallery in Honor of Women's History Month!

"In recognition of Women's History Month and National Poetry Recognition Month, Soule Restaurant is hosting an Art Gallery & Spoken Word Open Mic featuring artwork from Reina Miranda and Tasha Edwards on Tuesday, March 23rd. Reina's tributes include a Citation of Merit from the Bronx Borough President Adolpho Carrion, Jr. at a reception in Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Through Art, and the distinction of having her work displayed at the United Nations and the Museum of Natural History.

Brooklyn-born Tasha Edward's artwork is a reflection of the trials, tribulations and joy she experienced growing up in an urban community. Inspired by 'Freedom of Painting', where an artist can choose almost any media to express his or her work, Tasha frequently incorporates fashion and poetry into her paintings through a texture and cloth-on-canvas style. She's an avid fan of realism and surrealism, which is reflected in her artwork.

Reina and Tasha's artwork will be displayed at Soule International on Tuesday, March 23rd, and the Poetry Open Mic portion of the event will begin at 7pm."
