Conversations with a Continent: Profiles of African Artists with Sammy Baloji

Sammy Baloji, an emerging Congolese photographer, speaks about his recent work. In Baloji's recent series entitled The Beautiful Time in Lubumbashi the artist employs photomontages to combine archival images of copper mine workers and colonial administrators with hisown photographs of contemporary Lubumbashi.
