Women’s / Trans’ Poetry Jam & Open Mike
Featuring Joy Ladin & Yuko Otomo
Joy Ladin’s book “Transmigration” explores journeys: of the self from one gender to another, of the soul to the flesh, of a marriage into and out of love. Ladin first shared these poems at this reading series while these journeys were being undertaken. Yuko Otomo writes in English and Japanese and her poems are direct in essence and simple in form. The jam is hosted by Vittoria Repetto. Deliver (up to) 8 minutes of your poetry, prose, songs and spoken word.
