The Child Development Support Corporation (CDSC) hosts its annual Starving Artist Art Show + Sale on Friday, January 22. This event promotes and raises funds for the CDSC Community Arts Center. The Center, when fully functional, will provide an array of art-based programs and initiatives for children and families in Brooklyn, especially at-risk children.
In 2009, over 250 neighbors in the Clinton Hills/Fort Greene/Bed-Stuy communities enjoyed an evening of live music, food & wine while browsing a selection of art for sale from over 30 local artists! It was so successful CDSC is doing it again and invites you to be part of this event.
Come out and support local artists and CDSC to build a community art center in Central Brooklyn. Artwork for sale $25-$500. Admission is free.
